Everyone edits the same board at once. Cursors carry names, the avatar row shows who is in, and changes appear as they are made — so there is no save step, and no second copy to reconcile afterwards.
Comments where the question is
A comment attaches to the thing it is about — a shape, a connection — instead of to a line in a document nobody opens. Replies thread under it, and resolving one clears it from the board without throwing the conversation away.
Sharing by link
Send the link and the board opens in their browser. Nothing to install, no plugin, no viewer account: somebody who has never seen Umlout can read the diagram, and you choose whether they can also change it.
Connections that stay connected
A connector attaches to a shape, not to a coordinate. Move the box and the line follows it, still meeting the edge where it should. Snapping, alignment guides and orthogonal routing do the rest, so a board looks deliberate without pixel-nudging.
Styling that survives a handover
A style panel for colour, stroke and type, a format painter to carry a look onto the next shape, and themes — so a board somebody else started still reads as though one team made it.
