A free online whiteboard, no sign-up
The board below is the real editor, not a screenshot. Draw whatever you came to draw — nothing to register, nothing to download. It stays in this browser until you make an account; that is the only catch.
Or start from something
What works before you sign up
The board above is the product, not a demo build — the same canvas, the same toolbar, the same code a signed-in board loads. Shapes, connectors that stay attached while you drag the box away, text, sticky notes, undo, zoom and the keyboard shortcuts all work with nobody logged in. Pick a starter and its template palette pins itself to the toolbar, ready to use.
What an anonymous board cannot do is put the drawing anywhere. No copy on our servers, no share link, no export file, no comments, nobody else editing beside you — every one of those needs somewhere to send the board, and that somewhere is the account. So it lives in this browser instead: a refresh brings it back, a different laptop does not.
What happens when you sign up
The board is adopted
Everything you drew becomes your first board, exactly where you left it.
The toolbar unlocks
Same board, same scroll position — the dimmed tiles simply come alive.
Nothing to re-do
No "start a new board" screen. The promise the modal made is the whole conversion.
Before you start
Do I need an account to draw?
No. The board above is live for anyone who opens the page — no sign-up, no email, no card. An account starts to matter only when you want the board to outlive this browser.
Is anything saved when I close the tab?
The board is kept in this browser, so a refresh — or coming back later on the same machine — restores it, camera position and all. It never reaches our servers, so another device, or a cleared browser, starts empty.
How much can I draw before it stops me?
A few dozen shapes: a real diagram, not a teaser. Past that the board stops taking new ones and asks you to sign up, and everything already on it stays editable and movable.
Can I export or share what I draw here?
Not from an anonymous board — Save, Export and Share ask you to make an account first, and so do comments. Sign up and the board comes with you; those buttons then behave like they do on any board.
What does it cost?
Nothing here, and nothing after: the account this turns into is free forever — an email and a password, no card at any point.
Can I draw UML here, or only boxes?
Both. The starters open a class diagram, a flowchart or a wireframe, and the palette each one pins is fully usable. If you want the notation explained rather than just handed to you, the UML, workflows, UI/UX and agile pages go through it — and every one of them opens back into this board.
